It has been a while since I have shared on this blog. So, much has happened but with it all the Lord has carried me through. It is a reminder that he never fails us and he never leaves us.

As I reflect on another Easter, I can't help but just be so thankful for all the Lord has done. The very breath in my lungs is from Him. I know when I am going through things in this life, shifting my eyes from the storms and placing them on my savior Jesus Christ is what carries me through. This so important for those that are believers.

I see many people walking around with hatred in their heart for one person or another. They are completely blinded to the point of insanity. Interviews in the street with people show just how lost many have become. There are wars and rumor of wars. There are weather disasters and so much more going on. This is exactly what our Lord said would be going on before he came to take us home.

Matthew 24:3-12

As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

This part of the word promises he is coming again. There is nothing that is a surprise to Jesus. Through all of this we can rely on our savior Jesus Christ to comfort us. When you ask Jesus in your heart something special happens and that is the gift of the Holy Spirit, our comforter, our helper, he indwells inside us giving us a direct line of communication to our Father God. We have nothing to fear. We can find peace in all these things because the Holy Spirit empowers the believer through his gifts. It is for all believers.

In 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Paul highlights a wider variety of charismatic gifts given to the church "for the common good," often categorized into nine gifts:

Word of Wisdom/Knowledge: Insightful speech or understanding.

Faith: An extraordinary surge of confidence in God's power.

Healing: Physical or spiritual wholeness.

Miracles: Supernatural acts of power.

Prophecy: Declaring God’s message or seeing what God sees.

Discerning of Spirits: Distinguishing between godly and ungodly spirits.

Tongues: Speaking in unknown languages as a prayer language or message.

Interpretation of Tongues: Understanding and explaining messages given in tongues

When you don't know what to pray, pray in your spiritual language. Speaking in tongues is for every believer not to be confused with giving a tongue for the church which many will be quick to say it requires an interpretation. Your PERSONAL prayer language is just that. The enemy wants believers to not be aware of the gifts of the spirit, he doesn't want you to know you can speak in your personal language, he doesn't want you to know that you have authority over Him. Saints, I am here to tell you that all of these things they are FOR YOU. The gifts will build you up. Instead of walking around offended, instead of walking around with hate in your heart, walking around grumbling, complaining, pray in the spirit. Give it all to Father God, He can handle it and He wants to handle it.

This Easter, remember that His death did not just save us from Hell, He tore the veil between us and our Heavenly father, He gave us the Holy Spirit not so we walk around defeated but so we would be built up ready to battle. So yes, we are in a war but it is a spiritual war. Keep your oil ready! He is coming back!

Lets Pray:

Heavenly Father I pray for the person that is reading this right now that they would know you, I pray that they would have a true revelation of their worth, of their authority, of their spiritual giftings. I pray they would be comforted by knowing just how much you loved us that you gave your only begotten son so that we would have everlasting life. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and thank you for the precious gift of your blood that was shed for every single one of us. In Jesus name, Amen.
